Here, our estate wines take center stage, all grown and crafted right on the property. Choose a curated tasting of four distinct wines for R120, or sip leisurely on your favourite by the glass or bottle. For a fuller experience, pair your tasting with a platter of local cheeses or seasonal tapas from our kitchen next door.
Tip: Seating is limited, so we recommend booking ahead—especially on weekends. Outside, the vineyard views await; inside, a quietly luxurious space welcomes you to slow down, taste deeply, and stay a while.

As Highgate Wine Estate is still a developing farm, we focus our wine sales in the tasting room – this way, you will find yourself purchasing a wine where you have experienced the nature of its origin. As we do have limited bottles & are in a very unique area, you will be able to buy a wine unlike any other, and one not many will have the opportunity to own

Your journey starts in our vineyards, where you'll learn how our unique terroir and the new spring growth on the vines shape the grapes to come. We then follow the harvest's path into our cellar to uncover the art and science of winemaking, from fermentation to the quiet maturation of wine in our barrel hall. This tour is a fascinating look at the passion and craft behind every bottle.
Wine Etiquette Course
An educational experience that equips you with the essentials of wine appreciation. Learn how to taste wine with confidence, pair it beautifully with food, choosing the correct stemware, buy responsibly, and correctly cellar and handle your collection.

The perfect pairing to your wine tasting. The cheese and charcuterie board includes a selection of local cheeses, cured meats, preserves, tangy kalamata olives, fresh seasonal fruit and freshly baked bread.
